VOGUE Italia feature the Jayne Pierson ‘Titania’s Dream’ collection A/W 2010…..’ British Shape-Shifting’.
Jayne Pierson showcased in On/OFF London this season, presenting a collection deeply inspired to Titania’s Dream by Joseph Noel Paton, focused on premium finishes and high standard, conceptual designs.
Stimulated for A/W 10 from two artists, such as David Lynch and specifically the movie Dune, where she took the futuristic taste, and then from Shakespeare and particularly A Midsummer night’s dream where she emphasise the male and female characters, bringing the plot of the play to life. Everything has been mixed up and displayed with a innovative and ultra-modern flavour.
Starting her fashion’s path from Alexander Mcqueen passing through Vivienne Westwood, Jayne has gained a wealth of luxury brand experience.
The Jayne Pierson Autumn/Winter 2010-11 collection is quite simply exquisite… irresistible to any woman who is after something feminine with a bit of edge. Experimental pattern-cutting techniques, expertly preformed tailoring and bold graphic elaborate prints designs capture the essence of women.
The resulting collection is an intense and powerful look that bleeds sensuality forcing the masculine and feminine to clash in an innovative androgynous style for progressive women. Sharp, bold and functional – Jayne have since the label’s foundation in 2009 built an instantly recognizable and desirable style and during On/Off in London and Paris, she successfully showcased her first own collection.
Whilst rebelling against stereotypical ideas of femininity, Pierson speaks to confident, active and modern women who rewrite the rules about their sex-appeal. With her fresh flawless cuts and innovative tailoring with high quality fabrics and with refined attention to detail each piece is sophisticated, sexy and so desirable.
